The Puerto Rican Legal Defense & Education Fund (PRLDEF) is looking into potential voting rights violations in Prince William County (PWC). It appears that Latinos are being purged off the voting rolls and intimidated from voting. PRLEDF is trying to identify students in the DC/Virginia area who are able to volunteer as observers in PWC during this Tuesday’s election.

We need YOUR help on Tuesday November 6th!
We have 8 polling stations to cover. The day has been divided into 4 time slots. We need 2 people working each polling station per time slot. We need 64 volunteers to work the polls.
You will need to remind voters to cast a ballot for me. You will need to show voters what the ballot looks like on the voting machine. Please download and print a Sample Ballot. Read the rest of this entry »
